As a credit union, Members Trust of the Southwest FCU is a not-for-profit cooperative. We reinvest profits into our membership through lower interest rates on loans, higher rates on dividends, and free or no-charge services.

Membership
When you open an account with Members Trust of the Southwest FCU, you are contributing to the well-being of the entire membership and helping grow the financial well-being of the entire community.

When you open an account with Members Trust of the Southwest FCU, you become a part-owner with the right to vote on our volunteer board of directors or run for the board yourself. Either way, you have an impact on Members Trust of the Southwest FCU. You’ll also enjoy low interest rates and dividends on deposit accounts and the same convenient digital tools and services you’d find at a traditional bank.

To become a member, we ask that you deposit $5.00 into a Share Account which is held for as long as you remain a MTFCU member and meet the membership eligibility requirements as listed below.

Membership Eligibility
Who Can Join Members Trust? MTFCU membership is open to anyone who works, lives, worships or attends school in these areas:

• Erath County, Texas.
• You are in Houston’s Underserved area. Please see the map linked here.
• The Oklahoma zip codes are 73102, 73106, 73107, 73108, 73109, 73119, 73129, 73139, 73149, and 73159.
• You are related to an existing MTFCU member by blood, marriage, adoption, or share a household with an existing MTFCU member.
• If you are an existing member of, or if you agree to join, the Tomball Memorial FFA Booster Club.
• You or a family member is an employee of one of our Select Employee Groups (SEGs), as follows:
